Happy Anniversary to Tara and Chris, who were married one year ago today at St. John downtown, with a fabulous reception at The Westin. We had chilly temperatures on their wedding day, but nothing like we’ve had recently, and definitely no snow! Tara was a master of gorgeous details, which were in evidence everywhere! Jill and Tim invited me to their stomping ground in the D.C. area for their super fun engagement session. After they picked me up at the airport, we headed to their house to pick up their dog, Laila, for a romp in the park. OK, next to my Hildy, Laila is THE sweetest poochie! She’s just adorable! Then, it was out for some lunch at the Austin Grille in Silver Spring. The couple who dips together stays together!!
Next on our adventure was a subway ride. Check out the reflection of the woman snoozing in the seat behind them!
We capped off our tour of the nation’s capitol with a stop in the Bishop’s Garden at the National Cathedral. What a beautiful, serene place!
We had a fabulous time hanging out and seeing the sights. Jill and Tim were great hosts and I can’t wait for their wedding in May! Thanks, guys!!!
I spent part of Friday afternoon shooting Jacque and Jeremy’s engagement session in the Short North. We had a fabulous time wandering the streets and shot some in Goodale Park as well. It was an absolutely gorgeous day and we couldn’t have asked for better weather. Jacque and Jeremy were super to work with and we had a great time getting to know each other better.
