Jill and Tim

Jill and Tim invited me to their stomping ground in the D.C. area for their super fun engagement session. After they picked me up at the airport, we headed to their house to pick up their dog, Laila, for a romp in the park. OK, next to my Hildy, Laila is THE sweetest poochie! She’s just adorable! Check out their family portrait:

Then, it was out for some lunch at the Austin Grille in Silver Spring. The couple who dips together stays together!!

Next on our adventure was a subway ride. Check out the reflection of the woman snoozing in the seat behind them!

We capped off our tour of the nation’s capitol with a stop in the Bishop’s Garden at the National Cathedral. What a beautiful, serene place!

We had a fabulous time hanging out and seeing the sights. Jill and Tim were great hosts and I can’t wait for their wedding in May! Thanks, guys!!!

Jacque and Jeremy

I spent part of Friday afternoon shooting Jacque and Jeremy’s engagement session in the Short North. We had a fabulous time wandering the streets and shot some in Goodale Park as well. It was an absolutely gorgeous day and we couldn’t have asked for better weather. Jacque and Jeremy were super to work with and we had a great time getting to know each other better. Here are a few of my very favorite shots from their session:

New specs

I just picked up my new specs yesterday and I’m loving them! For a few years now, I’d been wearing my vibrant purple glasses and I decided to tone it down a bit. I mean, I can only be so cool for so long! haha So, here’s what to expect of me now – totally fresh new glasses and super sharp vision, just in time for wedding season! Yay!

BTW, if you’re wondering at the sub-par quality of the image, it’s because I took it with my phone! (This is my first camera phone, so I’m feeling a little geeky!) I have to say, though, it does a halfway decent job! Not that I’d shoot a wedding with it . . . !!
