Carrie and Shawn

We had the privilege of shooting Carrie and Shawn’s wedding this past weekend, which took place at Our Lady of Consolation, the national basilica in Carey, Ohio. To say it was a beautiful church is an understatement! Wow! The reception was back in Columbus at the Burgundy Room, which made for a very unique setting, perfect for some really fun, close shots. We had an absolute blast with Carrie and Shawn’s families and friends. Here are some of my favorites from their day:

Don’t worry – it’s only orange juice!!

Congratulations, Carrie and Shawn!!

Karen,

You and Phil captured it exactly how we envisioned. Thanks for the sneak peek of our pics on the blog…They truly were the first thing we looked at upon arriving home from the honeymoon. We haven’t stopped looking at the hundreds of photos since!

Gina and Dave

Last Wednesday, I went to Gina and Dave’s house to shoot their engagement session. We had a really great time getting to know each other better, and I loved playing with their dog Fred. What a cutie he is! It’s obvious they love each other very much – and Fred too!!

Here are some of my favorite shots from our session!

Melissa and Tom

Congratulations to Melissa and Tom on their marriage Saturday, May 19. My Melissa and I were privileged to be part of Melissa and Tom’s fabulously fun day. We started with amazing photo ops at The Lofts downtown, with Melissa looking hot-hot-hot in her Monique Lhuillier dress! The ceremony was held in beautiful St. Francis of Assisi church on Buttles in Victorian Village, and was followed by pictures at the Union Station Arch and a fantastic reception at North Bank Park. Melissa and Tom were great fun and we had an absolute blast with them and their family/guests.

Here are some of my favorite shots:

Melissa got this great shot right before the ceremony:

And I love Melissa’s capture of the barefoot cantor and the whole ceremony below! Love that fisheye lens!

My turn with the fisheye for this group shot under the Arch. I love when the group is not camera-aware! To me, it makes for a much more interesting image.

Check out these gorgeous pink puff decorations at North Bank Park. What a beautiful place for a reception!

Congratulations, Melissa and Tom!!
