Melissa and Tom’s family – Short North portrait session

I love getting together every fall to document Melissa and Tom’s growing family:  seeing how the kids have changed from the prior year (which, at their ages, is quite a bit!), and enjoying the company of some of my favorite wedding clients – it’s a great tradition.  This year, we met up in the Short North on a picture-perfect October day and simply wandered around, ending up at Jeni’s (as all shoots should!).  Kids and ice cream:  a fantastic combination!

Courtney and Justin – First Community Church wedding / Station 67 reception

You know how you meet some people and you feel like you’ve known them for years?  That’s the way I felt when I met Courtney and Justin for the first time – like we were old friends already.  You know it’s going to be a good match when that happens, and I was glad to get to spend lots of time with them when they were in from Cincinnati for their Columbus wedding:  at baby Jackson’s baptism, the rehearsal and then on the wedding day.  They told me their families and friends were fun and they did not lie.

So, have a look at some pictures:

Congratulations, Courtney and Justin!!

Sarah and Don – First United Methodist / Inn at Ohio Northern University wedding

Sarah and Don came to me by way of Erika and Jeremy, whose wedding I photographed three years ago now.  I can’t believe how time flies.  Slow down, already!

Anyway, Sarah and Don had a lovely and intimate wedding in Sarah’s hometown of Kenton, with their reception at The Inn at Ohio Northern University in Ada, Ohio.  I’d never been to either town before and was greeted in Kenton by a huge parade.  Way to welcome me!

The day was filled with lots of family and close friends and a whole lot of love.  The weather even cleared in time for the ceremony and we had those intense blue skies of September.  It was just beautiful.

Let’s look at some pictures.

Congratulations, Sarah and Don!
