‘Tis the season when past wedding clients are popping out the babies! I love seeing the new little ones, catching up with the not-so-little ones, and being invited in to memorialize another milestone. This time, it was for Stephanie and Greg. We even got photos of Addie’s very first taste of ice cream. Naturally, it was Jeni’s, so she’ll be spoiled for life from any other kind.
It was a beautiful cool June day for Karen and Zach’s wedding at The Loft at Smith Brothers. I have loved working with Karen and Zach, and was thrilled to be part of their wedding since not only do our politics align, but Karen is a huge fan of photography. That always makes me happy! Add to that the fact that Karen’s dress was an amazing Vera Wang creation and that their families and friends were so kind and fun, and, well, it was just a great day.
Oh how I love seeing my prior wedding clients! And oh how I love when they contact me to photograph other milestones in their lives. I met up with Lindsay and Ben and their families for the baptism of their twins Gwendolyn and Harrison at St. Catharine in Bexley. It was great seeing everyone again – just like old times – and I loved meeting the twins and the big brother Benjamin.
