Devon’s Hilliard-Darby senior pictures – Topiary Park, Columbus Ohio

A year or so ago, I volunteered for the annual spring fund drive for my favorite radio station, WCBE.  I got to meet all the awesome radio personalities and help donors give up their hard-earned dollars to benefit the station.  When the general manager of the station contacted me recently about photographing his daughter’s senior pictures, I was honored to say yes!

I really enjoyed meeting and photographing Devon.  When I met up with her and mom Renee at the Topiary Park, they’d had the van loaded up with all kinds of goodies that would help show Devon’s interests and personality.  From Jane Austen to her multiple musical instruments, we had a great time covering all the bases.

I don’t do a whole lot of senior shoots, but I like to think I approach them differently than the “mills”, so if you’re interested in something unique for your graduating senior, give me a ring!

Family photos at home and at The Lakes

I love being asked by family members of wedding clients to make important pictures for their own little families; it’s so meaningful to me, and of course it’s fun seeing them again!  I first met S. at her sister’s wedding back in June so I was thrilled when she contacted me about shooting her maternity/family session in the fall.  It was a gorgeous day for pictures!

Elizabeth and Chris – Short North maternity session

On a perfect fall weekend, Elizabeth and Chris were back in their hometown here from D.C. and we met up in the Short North to celebrate the upcoming arrival of their first baby by wandering around the area taking pictures.  It was great to see them again and catch up (I had run into Elizabeth’s mom just the weekend before at the OSU alumni weekend), and I had the added bonus of watching yet another couple try Jeni’s ice cream for the very first time.
