The first time I met Lesley and Matt was to do maternity pictures. The second time I met them, I was invited over to photograph Alex, their precociously adorable curly-haired son. Alex was a bundle of energy and so sweet and cute. He warmed up to me immediately and was just a joy.

Erin and Luke are so much fun. I thoroughly enjoyed hanging out with them during their engagement session and that same feeling continued into their wedding at St. Joseph Cathedral and reception at the Columbus Athenaeum. And, although chilly, we had cooperative weather so we could do portraits outside and ride around in the trolley. It was a really great day and I’m so happy for Erin and Luke!!
I love it when moms talk, and when the talk turns into a referral. It probably also helps that I used to work with Will’s dad. Nice to be trusted.
Will and mom Kathy and I met up at the State House on a chilly but constrasty/sunshiney afternoon to make some pictures of Will being Will. He’s interested in politics, so the setting fit, and we even found a great spot on the grounds for him to demonstrate his love of the outdoors and one of the activities he’s fond of doing out there.
I love the graphic nature of our shoot and, of course, I’m a total sucker for that gorgeous light!
