It’s baptism week here at Karen Evans Pictures! First up is Lindsey and Robert and their beautiful new baby Kenley, who was baptized in a ceremony held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Columbus. Kenley was such a good baby during all the touching and anointing and water-pouring and picture-taking!
Time again for our annual Michelle and Mike family photo session, this time with their latest addition, Peyton, who is beyond adorable and just learning to walk. I love seeing Michelle and Mike every year as part of my Real Life Forever portrait program. It’s great to catch up and see how the family is growing. It’s crazy how fast time flies, but doing these sessions always makes a little part of it stand still, and I like that.
I know I sound like a broken record, but I do truly enjoy seeing and recording the milestones in my clients’ lives, from weddings to babies to toddlers and beyond. And when I’ve done multiple weddings in one family and everyone gathers for the first grandbaby’s very first birthday, it’s a great opportunity to reconnect and catch up and to admire all the changes in everyone’s lives. For Sara and Jason, it was the celebration of Will’s first birthday that brought everyone together, including sister Laura whose wedding I photographed and who now has a tiny baby of her own. I loved seeing everyone again and meeting Luke, but best of all was seeing Will’s expressions as he drove his new car and clapped with glee as everyone watched him don his birthday hat. He was so excited that everyone was clapping! You’ll see.
