There’s definitely a lot to be said for being in the right place at the right time. Such was the case when I met Chloe’s mom at Diane Hunter’s Rejuvenating Therapeutic Massage in Worthington. Turns out Felicity was looking for a photographer for her daughter’s senior pictures and, well, I just happen to be a photographer.

So, on the last nice, fairly warm day of fall we had, we met up in the Short North for Chloe’s senior portrait session. We had a mix of urban and leafy scenes, along with a really great time.

Seeing my wedding clients on their wedding day is always wonderful. Seeing them years later when they’re now parents, how their kids look so much like them, and how they all interact – there’s nothing like it.

I recently had this experience with Kate and Pete, wedding clients from years ago, when we did our family photo session with their gorgeous little boys, Hudson and Oakley. I don’t think I’ve ever seen such smiley children! They were happy from the moment we started until the moment we finished. I loves me some smiley kiddos. Check out how cute they are.

My engagement session with Becky and Jeremy at Inniswood Gardens recently was fun not only because we got to know each other better, but because it was a fun challenge trying to dodge the multitude of families and couples, each with their own personal photographer in tow, and all of whom had the exact same idea to take advantage of the beautiful and warmish fall weather and color to hit the park and make some pictures. Considering the traffic, it’s hard to believe we could get off a clean shot, but we did and they’re beautiful. See for yourself.
