Rebecca and Stephanie – The Columbus Athenaeum wedding

Rebecca and Stephanie were officially married in Washington, D.C. a few months back, and currently live out of state, but came back to Ohio (where we all hope marriage equality will soon become a reality) to have a wedding celebration with friends and family. Even though they are already married, all the tender emotions were still very evident, along with the great love and admiration Rebecca and Stephanie share with family and friends. It was a beautiful ceremony and reception at one of my favorite venues, The Columbus Athenaeum, and the weather cooperated for some lovely outdoor portraits. Have a look.

Brittani and Leonard – Victorian Village engagement session

I liked Brittani and Leonard instantly. We hit it off like gangbusters at our first meeting and I just knew we were a great fit. They’re going to have a seriously amazing wedding next month and I cannot wait. I learned at our engagement session that their band has as their lead singer an Elvis impersonator. I mean, how great is that??

But, for the shoot at hand, we started and ended at their lovely Pottery Barn-inspired condo (complete with adorable cat) and also walked the ever-lovely streets of Victorian Village and even shot at Basi, where, as it turns out, we learned we have a few mutual friends. Small world. Gotta love Columbus.

Big Fish Networking – 15th Anniversary Food Truck Party

I’ve been a member of the Big Fish Networking Club since January of this year. It’s a great group of people coming together to build relationships and businesses. I consider myself fortunate to belong and to call the members my friends.

Last night was a food truck party honoring the club’s 15th anniversary. Needless to say, the theme was “big fish”, as in sharks – both human mascot and mechanical.
