Laura and Matt and Luke – Hilton Head, SC family photographer

I was recently in Hilton Head, South Carolina to photograph the wedding of the third and final sister in one of my very favorite families and, while I was there, second sister Laura asked that I do my annual family portrait for her little family, in addition to some of the whole family at the beach.

I’d never been to Hilton Head Island before. It was lush and beautiful; very different from Florida, where I go for vacation every year. I may need to change that to Hilton Head for next year! Still the same heat and humidity, though, which isn’t too bad since that’s my favorite kind of weather.

And we had just that for the majority of my time there for Amy’s wedding; the day of our portrait session was about 93 degrees with probably 150% humidity, if that’s possible. It had rained and stormed a little bit beforehand, which I’m sure contributed to the soaring humidity, but it cleared up in time for our session on the beach and we had a fantastic time – the kids especially loving running in the sand and the surf.

Check it out.

Esox and his Family – Columbus Ohio Baby and Family Photographer

I know Jasmine from networking groups and from being my most amazing chiropractor. I’ve made photographs of her office and procedures, and some portraits for her personally, and now I got to meet new baby Esox and Jasmine and Eric’s parents, all of whom are just lovely. Baby Esox cooperated with pictures, of course, being that he was only about a week old for our session and, of course, excepting his decision to poop all over mom during a diaper change, but hey. He’s a baby. He’s allowed.

We made some great family photos with the grandparents, fabulous photos with his new parents and also got in some shots of Cinny the dog. Have a look.

Website Issues – womp womp

Unfortunately, the internet gods have conspired against me and I’m having a few website issues that, for some reason, have caused the contact form on my website (www.karenevanspictures.com) to just up and disappear. Oh, the contact page is there alright, just absolutely no form! We’ve been working on it – my web developer, my web host and me – but all to no avail.

So, if anyone wants to get in touch with me, use the contact form above, send me a Facebook message (www.facebook.com/KarenEvansPictures), call 614-203-2113, email me at karen@karenevanspictures.com, or, if all else fails, send smoke signals or carrier pigeon.

But, not to worry, a whole brand new gorgeous and fabulous website is in the works as we speak, and I’ll be unveiling that here soon! Stay tuned!
