Morgan and Seth

Saturday was hot and steamy for my engagement session with Morgan and Seth, who will be married in September. Friends of theirs own a cabin in the middle of nowhere, so we drove there for our shoot. Wow. What a great place! Lots of very cool spots inside the cabin with perfect light – great for making some fabulous pictures! Morgan and Seth were great sports, having pillow fights on the bed, climbing on some big machine in the yard, and jumping into the lake at Apple Valley. We had a blast!

We had the privilege of shooting Carrie and Shawn’s wedding this past weekend, which took place at Our Lady of Consolation, the national basilica in Carey, Ohio. To say it was a beautiful church is an understatement! Wow! The reception was back in Columbus at the Burgundy Room, which made for a very unique setting, perfect for some really fun, close shots. We had an absolute blast with Carrie and Shawn’s families and friends. Here are some of my favorites from their day:

You and Phil captured it exactly how we envisioned. Thanks for the sneak peek of our pics on the blog…They truly were the first thing we looked at upon arriving home from the honeymoon. We haven’t stopped looking at the hundreds of photos since!

Gina and Dave

Last Wednesday, I went to Gina and Dave’s house to shoot their engagement session. We had a really great time getting to know each other better, and I loved playing with their dog Fred. What a cutie he is! It’s obvious they love each other very much – and Fred too!!
