Hocking Hills provided an amazingly gorgeous backdrop to the pictures I made for Megan and Nik. It was a lovely drive down there and we had a great time getting to know each other better. But man o man, check out this light! The best light ever! Afterward, we stopped at the Arch in the Arena District to cap off our fun afternoon, and the gorgeous light continued! Yay!

It was a fabulous start to the week shooting Adriann and Reid’s engagement session at Franklin Park Conservatory. As with lots of places where I’m privileged to photograph multiple times, the personal challenge to me was to make some fantastic images in different nooks and crannies of the park. Success! We toured the south side of the park and hit all kinds of great places I’d never been, and, in the process, we made some phenomenal images! Of course, we had to play with the leaves!!

Even though I’m a week late, I want to wish a very Happy Anniversary to Jackie and Jay, who were married on October 21, 2006 in Avon Lake, Ohio. We had a great time photographing their very fall wedding – we had great leaf color and lots of pumpkin-y details! Here are a few of my favorites to commemorate their day:
I love how Jackie’s slanting into the wind mimics the slant of the tree in the background:
These tiny pumpkins are on top of the chocolate-frosted cake, a first for me!
And I love this shot taken during the cocktail hour. I just find a lot of humor in this!
