On Saturday, the nicest day for weather we’ve had for a while, I went to Laura and Mark’s house in German Village where we hung out for a while taking pictures of them and their dog Bogie. What a cutie Bogie is! He’s a Rhodesian Ridgeback and, even though he’s tall, he’s all puppy! From there, we walked around German Village and hit a few hot spots including Rooster’s and Schiller Park. And no spring engagement session would be complete without some Jeni’s ice cream, which was also a favorite of Megan and Elwood, Laura and Mark’s friends, whose wedding I’ll be photographing in August.

We finally had a nice break in the chilly weather yesterday for Leah and Andy’s engagement session at Franklin Park Conservatory. It was a beautiful evening with beautiful light and we made some fantastic images, not to mention having a great time just wandering around. Here are a few of my many favorites from their session:
Last Friday, I had the great pleasure of photographing Sarah and Michael’s bundle of joy, Dominic. What a beautiful baby he is and so sweet! He’d just woken from a nap so he was wide awake for our entire session and we made some really beautiful pictures. You can just see all the love and how much Sarah and Michael adore Dominic. As always, I truly appreciate being welcomed into their home to document such momentous occasions, in this case just a day in the life of their new family. Here are a few of my many many favorites:
