Ellen and Courtney!

Ellen and Courtney were married in Arizona on the day between their birthdays in September and came back to Ohio for a party at Ellen’s sister’s house at the end of the month. Ellen and Courtney were the third couple in the “committee” of friends whose weddings I’d already photographed, and it was great to see Kathy and Andrea and Karen and Amy again at Ellen and Courtney’s party. It’s such a great group and I have loved being part of these special events for them all. And, of course, when we did portraits we had to include the dogs, which is always a favorite, and even Henry the Cat made an appearance at the party. Have a look!

Charlie is a Senior

I’ve known Charlie’s mom Laura for a number of years now, having worked together when I volunteered at Local Matters, so it was a real treat to be entrusted to photograph her oldest son to memorialize his being a high school senior. We were scheduled to shoot on what was no doubt the hottest September day ever, but the morning proved to be quite mild and perfect for wandering around Jeffrey Mansion in Bexley, and Charlie was a real trooper, up for any idea. Have a look.

Michelle and Mike’s Family – Central Ohio Family Photographer

It’s that time again, where I meet up with Michelle and Mike and their adorable – and hilarious – family to do our annual photo session. This time, we went to Smith Gardens, a beautiful little neighborhood park in Oakwood. I love to travel to different areas to make photographs, and I especially love Oakwood because it’s really close to the Dorothy Lane Market, a great destination grocery store, where I stop after every trip to Michelle and Mike’s.

The kids are growing like weeds and are so, so funny. I always leave with sore ribs from laughing so hard. We had a blast, as usual, and I even got my hair zhuzhed. Thanks, Peyton!
