Megan and Kevin – Wedding at home, party at New Albany Links

I’m a sucker for anything out of the ordinary, so I was excited when Megan and Kevin told me about their backyard evening wedding.  It was too hot for the bonfire they’d initially hoped for, but the evening was otherwise beautiful and clear with that gorgeous kind of bright contrasty late-day sun.  The Jewish ceremony was held in Megan’s parents’ huge, lovely backyard and attended by a small group of family and close friends.  The next evening, Megan and Kevin hosted a much bigger group of family and friends at New Albany Links Country Club for a really great party, where one of Kevin’s best men brought his band to play and sing.

It was a fun and fantastic couple of days spent with Megan, Kevin and their families and friends!  Please enjoy the images!

Summer and Dustin – Lancaster Ohio engagement

Last week, I got to spend a beautiful evening in Lancaster with Summer and Dustin for their engagement session.  Since Lancaster is where they purchased their first home together, we thought the town would make for a perfect backdrop.  We definitely lucked out with that gorgeous golden light, and Summer and Dustin were up for just about anything, including a romp in the town fountain.  Nevermind that it was across the street from the police station or that police cars drove by – nobody cared, Summer, Dustin or the police!

So, check out some of this delicious light and how beautiful Summer and Dustin were in it!

Love the pictures of Summer and Dustin. Besides being incredible, I think you caught her personality and happiness too. Beautiful!

Jeni and Robbie – Grove City Ohio wedding

August 14 was like old home week for me, shooting Jeni and Robbie’s wedding.  Jeni is the sister of one of my grooms, Alan, of Jennifer and Alan, and it was great seeing all their family again and Jennifer’s as well.  I also got to see my upcoming October bride and her fiance, Sarah and Jared, Sarah being Jeni and Alan’s cousin.  I can’t wait to see this whole group again in a couple months; they’re all so much fun and so lovely to work with.

Jeni and Robbie were married at Grove City United Methodist Church with their reception at Pinnacle Golf Club, where I’d never been.  What a beautiful and elegant ballroom!  And, despite the torrential downpour, we even got to go outside for a few quick pictures.  It was a great day and I loved making these images for Jeni and Robbie!

Please enjoy!
