Michelle’s belly session – Columbus Ohio

I photographed Michelle and Mike’s wedding over a year ago and was so excited when Michelle told me she was expecting a new brother or sister for her daughter Taylor.  Her timing was perfect, coinciding with the announcement of my Real Life Forever portrait program, so we decided we’d get together now for the belly shoot and then after the first of the year for a baby session.  This is such a wonderfully special time in the life of their family and I’m honored to photograph this for them!

Here are some of my favorite images from our session:

Melissa and Tom’s family – Columbus Ohio family portraits

A few years back, I photographed Melissa and Tom’s wedding.  We’ve since gotten together a couple times for portraits – once when Melissa was carrying Lily and then just recently with Lily and her little brother Henry.  Lily is such a sweet little girl and it melted my heart that during our walk in the woods she insisted on holding my hand.  It was a beautiful morning for portraits and it was great spending time with Melissa and Tom’s family.  The nice thing is that because of my Real Life Forever portrait program for clients, we can do this every year!!

Here are some pictures of their beautiful family:

We did a shot like this – on the stairs with Greta the dog – during Melissa’s maternity session.  How fun it was to recreate the shot with Lily and Henry.

Sarah and Jared – Grove City Ohio wedding

Sarah and Jared’s was the third wedding I’ve shot for the Todd/Spiker family, which started with Jennifer and Alan and was followed by Jeni and Robbie just last August, so it was again like old home week seeing everyone once more.  All three weddings were even held at the same church, Grove City United Methodist, so that place is even starting to feel like home.

Sarah and Jared’s wedding was an absolute blast, with lots of big laughs all day long, even when the raindrops started the very minute we got to our outdoor portrait location.  Luckily, a reunion was just wrapping up in the gardens at Franklin Park Conservatory so the women cleaning up treated everyone to champagne and wine from their party.  Nice.

Let’s look at some pictures, shall we.
