Custom Holiday Cards

Tired of the same old holiday cards in the stores and want something unique and different, something that’s custom but not a lot of work on your part?

Since I’ve taken a number of wintry and holiday-related images through the years to make my own Christmas cards, I thought I’d open up this opportunity for you to have cards made with these images too.

So, I’m announcing today that a new gallery has been started with images you can use to make your own holiday cards, complete with various inside messages or the option to write your own!  I’m very excited to share these with you!!

If you’d like to order cards, simply click the Client Login link in the menu above and enter the password “christmas”.  There are instructions for ordering in the gallery.

The cards come in packages of 25, are 4 x 5.5 and printed on really beautiful 100% post-consumer recycled art paper, and include envelopes!  They’re adorable!  Check out the image options below, then click Client Login to order!  All orders placed through Sunday, December 5, receive free shipping!

Planned Parenthood – President Bill Clinton

Well, it’s not everyday I’m asked to take photographs at a rally where President Bill Clinton would be in attendance, so when I got the call on my way back from the Mountain Workshops, I pounced on it with both feet.  Anyone who knows me well knows I’m a big fan of Bill, so I was going to be there with bells on, come hell or high water, blah blah blah.

This all came about because I photographed Condom Couture earlier in October for the Central Ohio office of Planned Parenthood.  What I’d be doing this beautiful fall day would be following Cecile Richards, president of all of Planned Parenthood, while she was in town visiting OSU’s democratic headquarters, the America Votes call center and then attending a rally with various local candidates – and Bill Clinton.

I have to say that Cecile is the nicest, most down-to-earth “big wig” I’ve ever met.  She was an absolute blast to hang out with and was so kind and generous to me, not to mention being the very reason I was able to actually meet Bill and have a picture made with him.  She even treated us all to Jeni’s ice cream at the end of the day.  Cecile’s “people” – Reshma and Dierdre – were also wonderful.  It was a great day for me, a fantastic and unfathomable opportunity, and I’d do it all again in a hot minute.

Here are a few pictures from the day:
