Time for another installment of Why I Like This Picture.
This one is from a few years ago. Well, four years ago now. It was Megan and Elwood’s wedding, and Megan and her bridesmaids were getting ready at their house.
I remember waiting and waiting and waiting for just the right alignment of everything in order to make this picture – Megan’s perfectly framed smile in the “smile” of the mirror, the hairdresser approaching Megan with the comb – I took a lot of pictures waiting for just the right moment.
And THAT is what I so love about making pictures. That, with anticipation and patience, I can tell a whole story in one image.
