Brittani and Leonard tied the knot on an OSU bye week at Holy Name church on north campus, followed by a lively reception in the Large Theatre of my favorite venue, The Columbus Athenaeum. My dear friend and fabulous fellow photographer Eunice Montenegro and I started the day with the girls at the Sheraton downtown on Capitol Square where we had beautiful light for photographing them getting ready. The church was old and lovely – this was my first time shooting there. Then we tooled around campus to make some portraits afterward, making sure to hit the Oval, of course. And The Athenaeum did not disappoint, especially with an Elvis impersonator as bandleader/emcee.
It was a simply delightful day with lots of love and laughter. And those make for the best weddings ever!
