Last Friday, I received a very special birthday present – the opportunity to photograph the National Forum on Disabilities Issues, a panel discussion held every election year where local and national candidates gather to share their stance on disabilities issues. What an interesting, informative and inspirational day it was! In addition to photographing some high-level political figures (Ted Kennedy, Jr., Sherrod Brown), I met some of the sweetest new friends, especially Micah, who I plan to visit at the Dublin Sam’s Club sometime soon!
The discussion was moderated by long-time CNN correspondent Frank Sesno, and he did a fantastic job peppering the candidates with meaningful questions and not letting them off the hook.
