Today, I spent some time with Blaire Blechinger, the wedding coordinator for The Blackwell on the OSU campus. I photographed a wedding reception there a few years back and Blaire invited me back today to see the renovations they’d made so I offered to take some photographs of the beautiful work they’d done, along with the gorgeous table set-ups they had on display.
The Blackwell is a fabulous place for an event. You can’t beat the location, right in the heart of campus, right across from the OSU stadium, where I’ve photographed many a wedding couple! Not only that, but the facilities are beautiful and can accommodate a great number of people. The cocktail lounge is open and gorgeous with lots of natural light, and there is an outdoor patio area that is suited not only to cocktail hours but to the wedding ceremony itself.
And what review would be complete without a few words about Blaire? I first met Blaire at Nadia and Lalit’s wedding last New Year’s Eve. They are all great friends in addition to Blaire doing all the planning for their marvelous wedding. Blaire is a joy to work with and is tireless in her service to her clients.
