Rebbecca is putting the finishing touches on the hand-woven hand-tie their officiant will use during the ceremony to signify the binding together of her and Adam. There are many elements to this picture that I love, first and foremost the title of the book on which this hand-tie rests. The rest is the cropping and angle of the photo. For the documentary-style I love so much, I prefer to be on the same level as my subjects, which gives a feeling of immediacy and "being there" to the viewer.
