The Darby House Jewish Wedding Ceremony Photos
It seems that with some Jewish ceremonies - dependent on the Rabbi, of course - the photographer is granted a little more leeway in where we can go during the ceremony. Some are more lenient than others, while some restrict photography during the ceremony altogether. Rabbi Rick Kellner was generous in that aspect and I was able to sneak behind the wedding party for some literal behind-the-scenes shots while not distracting the guests. I particularly like this one as it turned into a fairly windy day and it was feared that the chuppah would topple over, in addition to the easel displaying the Ketubah. I like how this groomsman is pulling double duty holding onto both, and how my lower, crouched angle gave me the ability to also frame the groom and another groomsman under his arms. It's little things like this that make photos extra special to me - the details most might not notice. Keywords: darby house (32), jewish (59), outdoor wedding (83).
